WHAT IS INDUSTRIAL DESIGN ENGINEERING?

Personally, I like to describe it as the closest thing to what you though an 'Inventor' was as a kid. But a more proper description would be:

"A career that trains professionals to design products and information, emphasizing the solution of human needs through integrated concepts that incorporate visuals, functionality, materials, production, technology, economics, and environmental considerations."

There are 2 main fields in this career:

Since students of this career have to dive into both of these fields simultaneously, it allows us to grow as very versatile designers, and also allows us to further explore any other design ramifications we might be interested in when we finish our career.
